Drive towards Joetsu・Oshima direction along R253. Follow road to Joetsu・Oshima direction at Ikejiri intersection and drive straight for a while.
When you see a rusted sign board which reads “Shedding House / Hoshi Toge Terraced Rice Field” on your right, take right turn and then follow up the hill until you hit the fork. Take the right road until you will fine a yellow flag. Drive pass the flag and drive towards the end of the road. Park your car at the community hall (called Cathy Kaikan).
